2019 HSJGA Mixed Team Championship

Koloa, Hawaii, August 11, 2019 — The Hawaii State Junior Golf Association (HSJGA) conducted the final round of the 2019 Mixed Team Championship today at the scenic Poipu Bay Golf Course.

Congratulations to the winning team: 

Lacey Uchida of Hilo and Jake Sequin of Honolulu went birdie, birdie  on holes 17 & 18 to win by 2 strokes.

The Mixed Team Championship consists of two-person teams (one boy and one girl) from the 13 – 18 age division.  The first round was played using Four-Ball Stroke Play and the second, Foursome Stroke Play.  The challenging Poipu Bay Course played 6,023 yards for the Girls 13-18 and 6,499 yards for the Boys 13-18.
